It did, but from the looks of things, I jumped to conclusions. It wasn't a
USB problem.
Sandy, so that I am clear this started happening after installing the hub even though the bp was plugged into the cpu and not the hub? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandy Licht" <slicht@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2006 9:07 PM Subject: [bookport] Still no joy with getting the BP Transfer to see the Bookport.
I've rebooted until I think my computer is tired. Several times I have gone into device manager, USB controllers, and deleted the removable mass storage device. I have reinstalled Bookport Transfer 3 times at least. Does anyone have any other ideas? To refresh, the BP Transfer stopped seeing the Bookport after I installed a USB power hub and a 150GB USB drive. I uninstalled them, but that didn't help. I got two new CF cards today, and I was hoping to transfer several Audible books to them. I've had the Bookport for a year and a half, and, even though I have read posts on this list from several people who have had this same problem, I guess I didn't pay attention to possible solutions. Windows Explorer does see it as drive F now.
