There is a program called DVD Audio Extractor that will extract audio from
DVD's. I also know that if it's an .avi file, GoldWave will convert it to
mp3 so it can be played on the bp. If you can't find an accessible program
to convert wmv files to mp3 a quick workaround would be to turn on your
sound card's "what you hear" option such as stereo mix and the like, then
hit record on your sound editing program such as GoldWave, then run the
video as normal, stereo mix will pick up the audio and GoldWave will record
it. That's kind of getting outside the scope of this list though I believe.

Hi Pete.
Extracting the audio is something we're not doing at the moment, but I think there are a few programs out there that do that. I know there is one called Audio Extractor. You might give that a try.

Is there a way to do this? I know these are video files, but even on my PC I can only hear the audio portion and not see the video anyway, so, I'd like to be able to have just the audio portion sent to the BP. There are several other file types of this kind - i.e., video + audio - where it would be nice if one could sent the audio portion to the BP.
What is the possibility of supporting this type of transfer if not supported already? After all, most of us are only interested in the audio track anyway.
Thanks.
