Scott, By default, The book port will use the title of the book, or in this case, magazine as the name it announces. Under options, you can tell the book port to use the file name as the title. I do exactly what you do but I have the book port set to use the file name and it includes the number I add when it speaks the name. I'm not sure without looking just where that option is but go into the options section of book transfer and look around and you should find it. If not, let me know and I'll send more specific instructions.
