Try disconnecting all other USB devices (except keyboards and mice) and see if that helps. Also make sure you have fresh batteries; I'm sure you already have. Rob Meredith >>> dkkendrick@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 10/10/05 03:58PM >>> Hi all, Was trying to get help privately, but decided to throw this out to the whole list. I've only had my BBook Port for a few months. Had some trouble transfering files initially, and other unit freezes, but finally thought I had it under control. Just ordered my first additional compact flash, though, and have trouble with a capital T! The first few files seemed to transfer ok, although they were not completely there. Then, I began getting error messages with every attempt -- data error was the mssage sometimes, disk full was another, no usb device recognized is yet another. I popped the batteries out and in again, and each time I did that, it seemed I'd have a tad of success. It didn't last very long. I also tried re-formatting the card. No improvement. The card is a 1024mb Kingston. Did I mention that having to restore defaults is not a new experience for me with this unit? I'm going out of town tomorrow and wanted to take a lot of reading material. I am so frustrated! Any help vast appreciated. Deborah
