Hi Mike,
You don't need the beta software to set bookmarks in mp3's. Use 4+6 to set
marks, and navigate between them with 4+
5 for previous mark and 5+6 for next mark. I've had my BP since around April of
last year, and it has always had this
capability. So this is not something unique to the beta. Enjoy!
Regarding the lithium batteries: If you are getting 90% on mp3's, they are
probably getting ready to die. Are you still on
your first set? I have gone through two sets of lithiums and a couple of sets
of NIMH's since you mentioned using your
lithium batteries. What brand are you using? Maybe I just use lots more audio
than others. (I do use the BP a lot for
audible and daisy books.)
