[bookport] I hope this is a thrilling development

Okay list if this is what I think it is I am thrilled. I just downloaded
some texts into my bookport and when I took the plug out it was still in
the same directory. I hope this is the new state of affairs. If it is,
it is a welcome change. I always hated to have to go back to wherever I
was. Thanks for the change, if it is permanent. Kurt
