[bookport] Firmware problem

Hi, I think I just managed to make a very expensive paper weight out of my
Bookport. While doing a firmware update, I accidentally hit one of the keys on
my bookport. It now does absolutely nothing. Is there any way to fix this
thing at all, or should I start saving my money?
Any help and/or good news would be greatly appreciated.
