Go into the "set date and time" option in the menu and tell it that today is February 28. Although it's not the 29th of February yet, I'm guessing the Bookport will tell me, tomorrow morning, that it's March 1, 2008. While this is, admittedly, a bug, I'm thinking it's not too big of a deal. Interrestingly enough, on a related note, I've discovered that if you cycle through the years when setting the date, that when you get to 2079, if you hit the 6 key, you then jump to 1980. However, if you then hit the 4 key, you don't go to 2070, but 1979, all the way back through the 1800's. Again, not critical, but amusing. -Brian On Jan 14, 4:22am, Chase Crispin wrote: } Subject: [bookport] Re: February 29th Alarm } Unable to read this email, please upgrage your mail client } } --===============1867803332== } Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" } Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable } } Is=20your=20date=20set=20right? } On=20Thu,=2028=20Feb=202008=2017:39:45=20-0500,=20Irwin=20Hott=20wrote: } } } >Hi,=20the=20alarm=20apparently=20cannot=20be=20set=20for=20February=2029th= } =20at=20least=20on=20a=20 } >single=20vent=20basis.=20=20I=20get=20"time=20has=20Passed." } > } > } > } >Irwin=20Hott=20<ishott@xxxxxxxx> } >Hi,=20the=20alarm=20apparently=20cannot=20be=20set=20for=20February=20 } >29th=20at=20least=20on=20a=20single=20vent=20basis.=20=20I=20get=20"time= } =20has=20 } >Passed."=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20Irwin=20Hott=20<=20ishott@xxxxxxxx=20>=20= } =20 } } --===============1867803332==-- } >-- End of excerpt from Chase Crispin
