It worked.
Note: I had to reboot to fully turn off a file bbl.exe before deleting
it and the folder even the screen did not show Bookport running.
Everything is working fine now.

Don:
Uninstall Book Port Transfer entirely. That is, use the Uninstall
option, and delete the Book Port Transfer folder under Program
Files\APH.
Download www.aph.org/tech/bp_setup.exe and run it. Things should be good
to go.

My computer guru removed my Bookport Transfer software while trying to
solve an Internet Explorer problem. My wife and I have two bookports.
Unfortunately the installation software on the CD from the newer BPwas
damaged. I installed an old version from an old CD at my wife's work.
I did have some problem with installation in choosing the default path
but did succeed.
The problem is whenever I try to send either an Audible or Text file
from the transfer list to either of our two bookports, we get the
FFAPHTXT: filter message shown above.
I checked with Audible customer support and both Bookports are clear.
I see the most recent non-beta software version was loaded at time of
the installation.
What is the problem?
