First, what you should transfer to the BP is the OPF file. Make sure you have the latest release version of Book Wizard Reader if you're using the releases, and the latest beta version of that program if you're using any beta. As for what purpose the files serve, the Daisy specification will give you all the info you could ever want on that http://www.daisy.org/publications/specifications/daisy_202.html BTW, keep in mind that the Bookshare unpacker gives you the ability to make one HTML file out of the Daisy book. You can send this HTML file to the BP if you find it difficult to send the Daisy text.
