Hi John: To create folders in the Transfer program, you must first select the Book Port folder or file list. 1. Connect the Book Port to the PC. 2. Press alt plus f to get to the Book Port folder or press tab. 3. Press Applications Key or Shift f10 to bring up the Context menu. 4. Select New Folder. 5. Type in the name. 6. Press Enter. Note that you must press Enter a second time in order to send files to that folder during that session or any other. You will find the instructions in the User's Manual on the Book Port, as well as on the PC. Go into programs on the Start menu, Book Port Transfer submenu and select Documentation," and you will be able to read the manual. You can also do a find with your screenreader to find a specific topic. When you become more proficient on the Book Port itself, you can learn to do the find on the unit itself.
