Do you have the Bookport's latest firmware update?

I just bought a Transend 4GB CF card, and it works well. Without the newest firmware update, you will indeed have the trouble you described. At 01:08 PM 5/24/2007, William Stephan wrote:

Recently, I bought a couple Danalec 4 gig CF cards for use with my BP. I could not get the BP to format the cards, so did it at the command prompt. The cards apparently were formatted at FAT 32, so I figured I was OK.

I copied a bunch of files, sound as well as text onto the card, using a folder structure that worked well on 2 gig cards.

I could not get the BP to play any files. It took about 30 seconds for the BP to announce its readiness after I inserted the card.

I assume from this, that Danalec is a brand of card not compatible with the BP.

So, do any of you know of 4 gig CF cards that do work with BP, and, what brands would they be.

Thanks.
