No, the VR Stream does not have the capability to take notes like the BP. If you have the bucks, look at the Icon/Braille Plus from Level Star. The Braille Plus is sold by APH american Printing House for the Blind but actually manufactured by Level Star. You'll have to cough up $1395.00 for just the Icon/Braille Plus and another couple of hundred dollars for the docking station for the Icon. There will be a separate docking station for the Braille Plus.
