Hello Sharon. What firmware is on your machine? Are you using alkaline or
rechargeable batteries? What type file, or files, are you reading when the
machine becomes unresponsive? While I don't work for APH, I trouble-shoot
for a living, so the more answers to these questions, or other patterns you
can identify, the more likely that APH or other users might be able to help.

Hello B P team,
As a follow up to my Aug. 16 message, my Bookport was dead 4 times yesterday
and 3 today and responded to a reset with the command 2 plus b. It just now
refused to respond to that command and it was necessary to remove the
batteries and replace them in order to get a reset.Do you have an opinion
about what is happening? Has any one else had this problem? Is there
anything that I could be doing wrong? I have one of the first Book Ports and
this is definitely a new problem.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
