[bookport] Beta 23 Fixes Battery Problem, but there seems to be a bug with the sleep timer

It does seem to fix the battery problem, but on my BP, there is no
announcement at all when the sleep timer is set to 30 and it expires.
The unit simply shuts off. It does announce when set to 5 minutes. I
didn't have time to test the settings in between.=20
