[bookport] BP dead after beta upgrade

Hi Rob,

I am unable to revive the Book Port - it seems well and truly dead :-(.
Fortunately, however, the 2GB Sandisk card seems fine, so I don't think 
the CF card had anything to do with the failure.

Rats, I really wanted to check out the Book Port's new note-taker feature.
