Yes I've experienced what you described. Thought perhaps I must not have
heard the double beep that I thought I had. You know in today's world, it
seems every device we use has it's useful signals. I'm not saying this isn't
helpful because it is. But it is possible to misinterpret them sometimes.
The double beep of the bookport is disctinctive yet unobtrusive.
