Ann, do you plan to use these speakers while the vehicle is moving? If so,
why not just use a car kit similar to those sold and used with portable CD
players. Of course, you may not have cassette capability in that vehicle,
but I used one of those cassette car kits to run a wire from the
quasi-cassette to my book port. It takes nothing at all to have the Book
Port playing nicely through my car audio speakers. If you no longer have a
car unit that includes cassette capabilities, you might consider connecting
the Book Port to one of those small FM transmitters that would send its
signal into your car radio. Again, you'd have the extreme advantage of well
amplified car audio to drown out the noise.
