Hi Diane,

Basically providing you have the memory on your card, I assume any length 
of file is fine.
If you're copying from audio tape or CD though, those lengths are fine - 
then you can end up with multiple mp3's for longer recordings.
The reason one can't exactly give you a length is that the quality of the 
mp3 will determine its size.

Can you tell me what is the biggest MP3 file the BC can play without 
causing
it problems? I'm still on my transferring a book into MP3 and then onto 
the
BC but I don't want to cause it problems. Would you say an hour would be 
OK?
