I don't see how it could be done without increasing the unit's size, and
if it could be done, the sound quality would be zero.

How many CD portable walkman units do you use for reading text? I am in
great favor of a small speaker; for use with reading rather than
listening to music. If it could be done without increasing the unit
size.
