That is very good news. The federal government had been too permissive with
them, and Malheur HQ occupiers. Doing so only breeds more of the same. The
recent president’s administration was one of the worst things for wildlife
conservation ever.
Hopefully the current administration will reverse the recent decision that
allowed elk hunting on Willapa NWR. I have enough trouble with duck hunting on
the refuge. My neighbors and I are next to the refuge, and we all take steps
to disrupt hunting. I have a fake eagle I put on a post on my marshy edge. One
neighbor has a loud speaker with the sound of shot gun blasts. No hunters used
our little bite last fall.
