Good GO HOME pledgers,
This email is in part a test to make sure we can get a hold of you. At
the end of the occupation (sooner, rather than later, we hope) we will
email you to remind you of your total pledged amount. But we are not there
yet. In the meantime, we have some campaign news to share:
1) Campaign totals now stand at over $60,000 raised from over 1400
pledgers. In less that five days. AMAZING. Thank you!
2) We are pleased to have partnered with the good folks from the Center
for Biological Diversity who are at the Malheur NWR full-time to
counter-protest the occupation. They were kind enough to record a few
interactions at the Refuge HQ in which they confronted the Bundy clan
directly with the success of the GO HOME effort. Those images are
available at our new "Gallery" page on the website,

3) In keeping with those images, we would like to ask each of you if you
could send the Bundys a message (sign, gesture, banner, quote, video, or
anything else) to let them know *IT IS TIME TO GO*, what would you
send? We would LOVE to display a large collection of *your* messages on
our website. You don't have to travel to Harney County to tell the Bundys
how you feel - we know they regularly check in on our website. After
you've pledged (thank you!), this is your chance to deliver your message a
second time. Please be creative, try to keep things positive, and note
that we cannot use obscene material, even if it appropriate for the
situation. Just send the message to "*gohomemalheur@xxxxxxxxx
<gohomemalheur@xxxxxxxxx>*" and we'll get them posted. We may also use
submissions on Facebook and Twitter.
4) Due to popular demand, we are adding a one-time pledge function to our
campaign webpage. We still still not push for actual donations until the
end of the occupation, but for those who can only donate a lump sum, this
is the chance to add your donation amount to the campaign total. Though
the GOHOME campaign's effectiveness relies of daily donations, it has been
just too hard to say "No Can Do" to one-time donors! Let folks know about
the change. Daily pledges already made are not effected in any way.
5) If any of you know folks in national and regional media, please pass
on this story to them. We've had great Northwest coverage (see the Press
page at www.gohomemalheur.orrg/press

One good broadcast that goes nationwide, and the numbers will skyrocket.
We have been aiming at CNN, Rachel Maddow, National Public Radio (and
Oregon Public Broadcasting), Oregonian Nicholas Kristof at the New York
Times, and Jon Oliver of "Last Week Tonight". But we will work with any
media that translates into the Bundys leaving Oregon. Let us know via
email if you have ideas on how to get the word out.
6) We would also like to recognize Crile Carvey, who has helped us with
the website (and who set up the one-time donation function), and Christina
Sampson, who has created our lively and exciting Facebook group. Thank you
both so much!
Keep spreading the word with friends, as well as with social media using
the messages below.
And keep the faith. *We are not done until the Bundys are gone.*
