Hi Dave-
Yes, I realized that and it's too bad! This announcement just came to
Corvallis Audubon's gmail address, which is on our website. (and one of my
jobs is to monitor it.) The organizers never contacted us, unfortunately,
but I imagine they wanted to move as fast as possible anyway. I checked the
schedule for the symposium, and it's the tail end of morning break and
speakers during the time of the rally, so people will have to make choices.
I'd like to be able to give you a link to the symposium's schedule, but I'm
not that clever. You can, however, find a link on our website

Willamette Valley Bird Symposium, which a number of us are attending. Does
the timing of this event dovetail with the schedule of events at the
