Hello all,
As I contemplate running some Zoom games, I decided Cadet might be the
easiest to run over video. Here are the updated rules and cheat sheet. This
is expanded with two versions in one document: the original Cadet for toy
soldiers, and new Cadet II with modifications for stand-based "proper"
wargaming.
"And so I offer my game, for a particular as well as a general end; and let
us put this prancing monarch and that silly scare-monger, and these
excitable "patriots," and those adventurers . . . into one vast Temple of
War, with cork carpets everywhere, and plenty of little trees and little
houses to knock down, and cities and fortresses, and unlimited
soldiers--tons, cellars-full--and let them lead their own lives there away
from us." H.G. Wells, Little Wars, 1913
When I get organized and have tested everything out, I'll put the word out
for a game night over video. By the way, I think Discord will prove a
superior platform to Zoom as it's both free and very flexible once you get
the hang of it.
Updates soon,
Forrest
