Subject: [blindza] Possible better/more realistic cause for one eye's pain

Ok, chatted to a local homeopathic GP here in kempton yesterday, and his theory about my left eye sort of permanently burning me a bit is that due to the slightly lesser muscle control on that side of my face etc., also due to the original injury that caused my blindness - silly example is that while I can feel well enough on that side, I will never try chewing anything on the left hand side since I will end up biting myself due to slight lack of proper muscle control - he reckons it's most likely that I don't necessarily keep the left eye properly closed while asleep.

Either way, he reckons I should try get hold of some sort of eye patch, etc. to make sure the eye stays closed at night, so will look into at least trying this out - can be either a 'nasty' pirate, or my own version of rambo with a bandana on at night...<smile>

Stay well
