Hello all
If you find the Absa internet banking site tedious and frustrating, you can go
to Absa's mobile banking site on your PC by going to the following address:
https://ib.absa.co.za/ib/AuthenticateW.do?icmpid=BAC00414
This site has a very simple, clean interface and you can still do all your
day-to-day banking stuff, like checking balances, getting statements, make
online payments and inter-account transfers and define new beneficiaries.
The address above takes you directly to the log-in screen where you supply your
account number and PIN. Once you have logged in, you are taken to the banking
part, you do not have to supply your password characters like on the regular
internet banking page. You can use the link in this message and once you get to
the page, save it as a favorite. That makes it simple for future use.
I recommend this method, as it is just a lot less nonsense. It works like a
breeze.
Unfortunately on a cellphone for some reason MobileSpeak does not work properly
with this site; it gets stuck in the comboboxes. I don't know if Talks might
work. On the PC the site will work perfectly with all screen readers.
