Yep, I have kept all my phones I have had up to now, but for some of the older ones, which are still working famously, I cannot buy a decent battery any more. I am also still using my 4 year old 6210; the c5 I got last time is stil unused in it's box. I have this nasty feeling that the c5 was the last user-friendly phone we will see for a long time, untill manufacturers start thinking of producing gadgets which could actually be used by people who most of the time buy things that they don't need. In that way, I have paid enough "scool fees" up to now. IF IT WORKS, DO NOT FIX IT! Also, don't replace it BTW, the walls around me are all bloody because I seem to keep on bumping my head against them all.... Deon, Very funny but true. However, my advice to you would be to stick with what you got untill it breaks. I am also waiting to see what this new android accessability phone would be, if it will have a normal 12 button key arrangement or QWERTY. But with all your requirements listed, better to stick with what you have - and maybe buy a extra one to keep should yours break. UID09duf63i2bd Well, I wanted to ask you guys something, but I'm not too sure how to send a message to this list, so I'll try this way and see who gets it? My problem is that within a few months I will be upgrading my cell phone contract with Vodacom. But, as Technology seems to be running away from me all the time, and these gadgets become more inaccessable to stupid old me, I thought there might just be someone as lazy and easy-does-it as myself who could tell me what obtions of models there are to me to choose from. I would still prefer a simple Nokia with only 12 or so buttons, but it has to be able to be used as modem, and I still want to use e-mail on it. I don't want a thing that I have to move my fingers around on a stupid piece of glass; I don't want to swing my arms and legs around to operate this thing; I don't want a laptop-sized, irror-looking thing which I cannot carry around. I need a simple thing which talks to me, instead of showing silly pictures on a screen, as I have had up to now. I phoned Vodacom's Special Needs, but after they had transfered my call from one to the other untill they had transfered me around the world back to where I started my call, I can still not figure out what model I should go for when I "upgrade". And words like "FREE", "Democracy" and "Accessability" or "Developement"or "Special Needs"or "challenges" are driving me up the bloody wall? So, is there still an accessable phone for us? I know recently there was a message on this list about a "new, exciting Androyd" phone coming up, watch this space", so I'm watching this space... Someone has asked me why I don't ware glasses so I can see, but please note that I am blind, not stupid, and I need a phone for blind people, not one for stupid people. Let us know what recent phones you have started using, and what your experiences are with these?
