[blindreplay] delete shows older than...

HI All,
In the "Output" tab on RAV8, there is a entitled "Delete Shows Older Than.."
which suggests you put in a number reflecting the age of a recording in days
after which that recording will be deleted.
I have tried this feature with little success, both with stream captures and
podcasts.
How does one make this feature work? Are there any special things neede in
setting up the recording which make this work more efficiently?
