Hi, I'm new to the list and am an aspiring amateur. that is to say, I intend to aquire an amateur radio license. the problem I have, is that the radio that best suits my requirements power restriction wise is to my current limited knowledge, inaccessible. the Rig in question is the Yaesu FT817 HF/VHF/UHF All band tranceiver. is there a way, I can successfully operate the thing's menus and not get lost?
