Well there are two ways, one is quick and dirty, but definitely sufficient, the other way is or can be a manual, and well, not really in the novelette writing mood at the moment, smile!

If you have two message that match the criteria you want, go ahead and shift arrow them to highlight them, if not, this way is a tad more complicated but very affective. Locate your physical mouse, and put it where you can get to it easily without moving it. find a message that has what you wish to filter on, and route pointer to cursor, ins+numpad plus, then ins+numpad 6 till you get over the column of the message that you wish to base your filter on. send or, date, subject, nah, nah, nah, and using your physical mouse, alt+left click. This will highlight all messages that have the same criteria that you highlighted with your mouse and you are now albe to act on them as if you had done that very thing.

Now do alt+s f for special make filter
you will land on create filter, and if you smack enter here, you will get a filter that will filter all incoming and manually selected mail and will put it in the named box of the criteria, i.e., blind eudora goes to blind eudora, blinad goes to blinad, or if a name was highlighted, than the name of the box will be the name that you highlighted, like Lou burton, nah, nah, nah!

If, however, you tab around, before doing the create filter thing, you can change a few things about the filter before you create, and make it a tad more tailored.

Note, jfw users can alt+left click with there virtual rodents, hats off to yall, wineyes really needs to allow that.
