I've had You Tube TV for a year and a half and it's been my experience
that very few channels on this service have audio description. The one
I have most success with is TBS and yes, turning the audio setting to
secondary will turn it on (or Spanish audio) if the channel has it. It
has also been my experience that if you stay on the channel the
setting will stay on but if you go to another channel then the audio
is reset to primary for all channels including the one you were on
previously. This is really the only complaint I have about You Tube
TV. As an additional note, I just discovered since I had customized my
channel lineup, when You Tube TV added new channels they did not show
up until I went into my phone app under account then settings then
live channel lineup (the wording might not be exact). I then had to
unhide them for the channels to show up on my list including the app
on my tv.

when I go under there, I do see things like primary, secondary, tertiary,
etc. I've not yet managed to hit on anything which actually provided audio
description, however, switching things over to secondary, at times did give
me Spanish, although tertiary doesn't seem to really be doing much of
anything. usually. a few other times, I went to secondary, but nothing at
all seems to have happened.
I'm perfectly aware that a lot of this has to do with the network itself in
question, and what audio they pipe through their stream, however, more from
a general perspective, specifically with YouTube TV, regardless the program
you did it with, I'm just wanting a generalized yes or no. has anyone
managed at all with YouTube TV to get this to work with any content
whatsoever?
