I just bought a Roku StreamBar which is a Roku inside a soundbar and I
thought I'd share my experience. While the sound quality was decent and the
unit nice and compact measuring 14 inches wide, it costs $100 on Amazon.
Which is not a bad deal. It supports 4k also and is fairly agile in the
menus. However on the accessibility side it is not any better than other
Roku devices. The voice of the audio guide is terrible and I can barely
understand it unless I really focus on it. Also, navigating inside channels
is only accessible in the major channels like Netflix, Hulu, etc. Other
channels like PBS for examples are not accessible to navigate. And in terms
of audio description, I am still limited to Netflix as far as I know. Does
anyone know if any other streaming soundbars out there?
