I can't speak for all platforms, and I haven't installed it myself, but I do
see a TuneIn app in the Google Play store for my Sony smart TV.

Is there a tune-in app on smart TVs?
The one we have does not have a screenreader in it, so I don't know.
I think it is on my Tivo apps, but I'd have to pay Tivo to use any of the apps,
I just use Tivo for OTA TV with just a speaker attached.
But if TuneIn is a TV app, one would probably need to create a free TuneIn
account to log in.

Hi. CNN as well as CNN International are available at no cost from TuneIn.
Both channels are also available from Sirius XM.

A couple of thoughts here. First, if we're talking about CNN, you might want to
see if that's available on things like SiriusXM or TuneIn. They'll be cheaper
than YouTube TV. Of course, you'd lose video.
Second, if I'm seeing a complaint about the price of YouTube TV then I'd say
that would be true when compared to things like TuneIn or SiriusXM but if
you're comparing it to a package from a cable company or even streaming
services like FuboTV or Hulu Live TV then it's either cheaper or on par.
Third, a better subject line would help getting answers to these questions.
Finally, if you wouldn't pay $0.10 for CNN then I guess they'd have to pay you
to watch Fox. I hope Dennis doesn't moderate this list! 😉 Seriously though, I
think value judgements on channels like CNN have gotten too politicized and are
best not brought up on lists like this.

Question first: Is anyone out there? I subscribed to this list about 2 weeks
ago, but have seen nary a message.
So, I am here with my Insignia smart TV, wondering if there's a way I can
access CNN without using Youtube TV, which costs a quarter of the earth.
