This looks like a really good recipe once you have all the ingredients on hand. I am no expert on Asian cooking, but using Italian sausage in something called Asian meatballs seems odd. I'd probably make it as written, however, just to see how it turns out. But I wonder if some sort of Chinese sausage could also work here. Either way, I'm saving this one. Thanks for sharing.

Garam masala is an Indian spice mixture. From India, that is. Sesame oil is a specific flavor, and it's pretty easily found in the Asian aisles of most supermarkets. Leaving it out would cause the recipe to miss something.

Hi Susan, your  recipe sounds good. I have to questions: what is garam
masala? Can you use other cooking oil?

Thanks in  advance for your answers.

Rosario
