Hi all Good morning. As we talk about nuts, I find it easier to buy them in bulk,as I use a lot of different kind of nuts for all recipes, breakfast, and shakes. Enjoy sugar "I have tried to know absolutely nothing about a great many things, and have succeeded fairly well." ~Blessed, Sugar -----Original Message----- From: blindcooks-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:blindcooks-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jon Rawlings Sent: Friday, December 20, 2013 8:07 AM To: blindcooks@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [blindcooks] Re: Fw: TEXAS-SPICED PECANS-Cup of Recipes Yes, you are crazy for not liking cumin. But you might try using chili powder in its place. That's what I'd use if I didn't have cumin and wanted to make these. As far as all the nuts; I remember that pecans were fairly easy to get out of the shells, while walnuts were a huge pain in the neck! The seven dollars a pound is better, but one has to keep in mind that some of that weight is useless shell.
