Good evening everyone,
` We're wanting to find out if this promotion is available in San
Antonio Texas. We have been trying to locate official information concerning
this but have not been able tolocate any evenon Uber's Website. I looked in the
"Uber News" sectiononly to discover that the page was in Spanish. I was unable
to change the language to English. I'd like to suggest that if information of
this kind is shared here that links to Websites or other resources from which
one can receive additional information be posted on this list to allow anyone
with interest to get further details. Thank you.

Hi, David;
Thanks. I’ll save this info, too so I have back-up. Take care.

Lillian,
You and John don't have to sign up with two different accounts. You should be
able to book a ride for both of you under Uber Pool, which allows for more than
one passenger. Pool isn't available in all markets but it should certainly be
available in most of the Philly area.

Hi, David;
How does one sign up for their services? I’m thinking a time may be fast
approaching when public transportation may no longer be an option for me and
John. We do use Para Transit but too often they’re unreliable when we must
arrive at an appointment at least ten or fifteen minutes ahead of time, which
sometimes doesn’t happen. We’ve had to cancel and re-schedule certain ones
because of not being able to have absolute control over such situations.
Sometimes, Trolleys and El trains pass us by, making the difference of being on
time or late, even when leaving home an hour or two prior to our scheduled
appointments. That can be extremely frustrating. Either the doctor’s rule is to
be seen after everyone else if late, or refuse to see someone who is late, not
of their own doing. So, it might be worth it for us to have a back-up system
that’s more reliable. Must we both apply or can just one apply yet both use the
service? It doesn’t hurt to know those rules before-hand. Thanks. Take care.

Another thing to watch for it with Uber is Uber passes take a look on the menu
in the app I just bought one that was good for unlimited rides for a month for
$20 and have probably saved more than $200 by using it uberX rides are 595 up
to a $25 ride and UberPool is 299 however I rarely use that although the area
that it is covered can be tricky this one was in Philadelphia and covered a
fairly large area but you can't cross the bridge to Jersey and used it

I don't know how long these discounts will last or what markets they are being
offered. However, Uber is offering some pretty nice discounts on rides. I
recently took a ride in Delaware which normally costs around $20 but, because
of the promotion, cost just $10.82. If you regularly use Uber you should be on
the lookout for it.
