I have received the Supcase recommended by Robin and I absolutely love
it. I like the fact that it's a tad less bulkier than the Otterbox
Defender, making the phone thinner and lighter. The screen protector is
perfectly flush with the phone's screen. The fact that it doesn't cover
up the home button also allows my fingerprint to be recognized with more
responsiveness and overall faster speed. Lately, my fingerprint wasn't
being recognized as quickly as it should and that problem is now gone.
As I hadn't heard of this case I would never have thought to purchase it
on my own but, given Robin's recommendation, I decided it was worth
trying. Personally, it was the best ten dollars and six cents I've spent
on this phone!

don't know if that was part of living in Florida or the Otterbox. However, I
have not had an issue with this brand of case on either the 6S+ or the iPad
Mini 4.

Yes the few times I returned an otterbox I merely explained that I couldn’t
take a picture being a blind person especially as sometimes they'd want a view
of the serial number inside the case. Often times you could find someone to
wave that requirement. But yes with these it's even easier as they're much
cheaper but don't necessarily feel that way when in use.
Once you get it start from the bottom edge opening port covers and pulling
rubber outer shell away from front frame. Then work your way up sides and pry
it loose. then remove cellophane covering from both inside and outside of front
cover. I always like to wipe the inside gently with a slightly damp cloth to
get rid of any residue and pat dry. Then place front cover over face of the
device you'll know immediately if screen protector lays right even before
putting on outer cover.

Oh one more point to mention unlike the otterbox defender this case can not,
not, not be placed into its holster face out. If you do it'll cause the case to
definitely bend. I never use holster so that wasn't a deal breaker for me but
some are very disappointed. I believe the only other case that offers face out
placement is the Griffin survivor.

Oh, thank you so much. Thanks also for providing the direct link. It was only a
little over ten dollars so I ordered it. And choosing no rush shipping gave us
a five dollar credit with Amazon Pantry, which will make my wife very happy.
Yes, every time I needed to reorder an Otterbox it was just easier to order a
new one. Otterbox is very willing to send out free replacements but it involves
taking a photo and uploading it to them, which is quite nice on their part but
more drama than I'd like to go through. I should get the case by next Monday or
Tuesday so we'll see how it goes.I really appreciate the recommendation.

defender but has served me well since I abandoned the defender a few
iPhone releases ago. On occasion you might get a protector that
doesn't lay as flush as you speak of but well umm I probably shouldn't
admit this but umm ok I will when that happens I usually just buy
another because they're so reasonably priced and either take the loss
keeping the bad one for spare parts or simply place it in the box that
the new one came in if it is better and I'm keeping it and merely do
an easy as pie return to amazon for a refund though now that they're
so cheap it often isn't worth the postage to do so.
All ports and switches are covered by the outer case of this shell too.
Perhaps it'll suit your needs.

Hi. For years I've used Otterbox Defenders with my iPhone. I loved the
level of protection the case offered but the screen protectors were a
bit hit and miss in that most of them felt like there was a flimsy
plastic sheet hovering over the case. One Defender case I owned had a
perfect screen protector, which was perfectly flush with the case to
the point where you couldn't even feel it. However, the latest case I
bought this summer had the flimsy protector again and I just don't
care for the feel. Therefore, I'm asking for recommendations for a
case with similar protection but which has a nicer screen protector.
I'm wondering if I should just go with something like an Otterbox
Commuter with a Zag Invisible shield just for the screen.
