1. Today is the tenth birthday of the iOS app store. It started with just 500 apps. The iPhone was released a year earlier and it only contained the apps installed by Apple. While all platforms now have their own version of an app store, Apple's was really the first to do it and it changed the iPhone in major ways, as well as influencing other operating systems to offer similar services.

This tablet is certainly not as nice as an iPad, especially from the perspective of blindness accessibility, but it is accessible and is a fabulous deal for anyone who was considering purchasing one of these.
