Hi all--
Next Friday, January 20, 2017 is inauguration day. ABC will be broadcasting audio description along with their coverage from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, EST. Description is sponsored by ACB's Audio Description Project.
Description on-site in Washington, DC will also be available for the inaugural parade. Beginning at Noon audio description will be provided on the parade route--the parade begins at 2:00 pm and audio description will continue until the end of the festivities. People who wish to have access to the audio description should arrive early to the ADA section along the parade route--it's located at the Navy Memorial, between 7th and 8th street, NW. It's highly recommended that attendees use Metro for travel to the Navy Memorial (it has its own Metro station on both the Yellow and Green lines.
