Good morning again, Bob Hachey, and All Who are tired of Mostafa.
I'm copying this note to Mostafa(Bob #2), but chose not to respond to
his last post. Mostafa is showing his "Snarky" side.
That is not conducive to a fair and frank discussion. Mostafa
demonstrates a very human tendency. It's called, "Lumping". Mostafa
has set up, in his mind, a stereotype of the Typical American, and
into this stereotype he shoves most all Americans. Even those of us
who did try to have conversation and understanding. Initially, I
believed Mostafa to be a bright, brash young man. A bit on the
braggart side, but many of us begin adult life strutting our stuff and
believing that we have a greater insight than all those who came
before us.
But Mostafa, regardless of what he might say, has been committed to
"spreading the Word, according to Allah". And he has the Gall to
advise me to not project my views on religion into my posts!
While I will stop responding to Mostafa until he has grown up a bit, I
would warn anyone who would dismiss Mostafa as some sort of maniacal
radical, that he is only one of many, many opponents to the American
Empire, which the Empire has created through its aggressive, murderous
actions around the Planet. As the Empire's figurehead president is
rattling the sabres at North Korea and Iran, the Empire continues to
bomb, and to support the bombing of a spreading area in the Middle
East. Can Africa be far behind?
We can continue to "entertain" Mostafa, but he is merely a distraction
from the urgent business of building a resistance to this
out-of-control madness that is under girding a growing number of
Mostafas.

disagree with some of his religious stances, that's a far cry from

I am open to seeing any kind of proof you have of this. Sounds to me
like Mostafa is a typical blind guy who happens to have strongly held

Carl, if someone disses you all the time, will you lower yourself to
his level. You will either respond appropriately or just stay silent.

It's been a long time since I flipped through the Bible, and I've
never read the Koran, but I will bet my grandma's gold tooth that
both books say about the same. In the Bible it quotes Jesus as
saying that "even as ye(Jesus talked funny)have done to the least of
these, so have ye done unto me". In another place I recall reading,
to loosely paraphrase, that it is easy to love the beautiful ones,
there is no effort to extend yourself to those with whom you agree.
But to love your enemies? Now that takes effort. Of course, since I
am an Agnostic, I draw the line at actual "Love" for my enemies. But
to disagree with another person and kick them when they're down? In
my book, that's inhuman.
And by the way, before anyone says that I took the words wrong, I
have been around that block a time or two. I know "snarky" when I
smell it.

Syllogism is deductive reasoning in which a conclusion is derived
from two premises. So rationally, if something has been made, it
must then have had a maker. It could have not made itself, because
at first, it didn't ask.
I will theoretically suppose with you, that a deity doesn't exist.
Then how could we rationally construe the perfect design of this
universe? I urge you not to beat around the bush and think before
you give an answer.
