I started using the bill identifier a few months ago when I stopped being
able to see those huge numbers on the five, ten, and twenty dollar bills.
But today, the thing began repeating, "error", after it identified a twenty.
It wouldn't stop until we took the battery out. I just looked at the braille
instructions that came with it when NLS distributed it several years ago.
The instructions don't mention this potential problem under,
"troubleshooting". There's an 800 number to call if it doesn't work, but
I've no idea what that is for. This thing was distributed several years ago.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix the problem? I'm thinking
that my regional library must have distributed the thing and maybe I should
call them, but I can't remember who sent it. Any ideas?
