Hi Claude,
It sounds like you're trying to create and send an email message. If you
double tap the compose button, you should be in the to field, ready to type
in the email address. Then, try placing your finger on the upper right
quadrant of the screen and sswipe right with one finger. That should move
you to the other email fields like CC Subject and message body. IF hints are
turned on, voice over will say, double tap to enter text.
Emailing is one of my least favorite things to do with the iPhone.
