[blind-democracy] my own feelings about Bernie's decision

I don't think that he should have given up his fight for the nomination at
this time. Not that I think the party would have allowed him to be nominated
as President, but if he had fought like hell until the convention, or
whatever passes for a convention this time around, the leadership might be
forced to come up with a more reasonable candidate than Biden and with a
decent platform. They'd have been frightened of losing too many voters. But
now, they've won. They don't have to concede anything. They believe that the
majority of Democrats will vote for anyone and any platform, just to rid
themselves of Trump.  Among other things, Bernie said that Biden is, "a
decent guy". He isn't.
