[blind-democracy] Re: Where's the Outrage Over the Beheadings in Saudi Arabia?

During the First and Second World Wars, our government packaged the
fear and suspicion that if we did not enter into the fight "Over
There", we would be fighting them on our shores. Then our government
sold us the bill of goods that our Unions and Entertainment Industry
were being taken over by Communists, who planned to seize our
government and make us all into little Commie Robots. Then it was
those evil Chinese, the ones we'd loved so much during WW II. Then we
got that Domino Theory and rushed off to bail France out of Viet Nam.
And finally our Empire Brains figured out that the best way to control
the population would be to declare Eternal War on Terror. Now we all
can worry about some little puffed up dictator sending hundreds of
drones to wipe out our cities. But we can all rest assured that as
long as we are killing them in their beds, our families will be safe.
And we can safely attend our Christian Churches and pray our thanks to
our Loving Father for making us the Peace Keepers of the world.
Yup, it's all as clear as the Holy Mysteries.

Hi Miriam,
Excellent post! I've been arguing since my college days that if we are a
nation true to its founding documents, we have no business being allies
with
the likes of Saudi Arabia. Seems that all of our leaders going way back to
the early 190's are equally cowardly.
Don't ever forget that Bin-Ladin and the 911 bombers were all Saudis.
