Someone announced on the BARD Talk list that Bill Acker, the owner of
Blind Democracy on Octothorp, has died. I started to reply saying that
this is false, that Charley Crawford was the owner. Then I backed off
because the truth is that I was not involved at the founding of the list
and I am not entirely clear about the details of its founding. Was this
person totally misinformed or am I missing something myself?
