Here it is, 6:48 A.M., on Christmas Sunday, and already Ive been up an
hour, cleaned up the kitchen in preparation for today's Turkey dinner,
turned up the heat so Cathy's toes will not freeze when she awakens,
made a cup of coffee and plopped down in front of my computer. I
absolutely love the quietness of early mornings. My mother put my two
sisters and me to bed early so she could have some quiet time. For
me, once the kids were in bed I was too pooped to feel that I had any
private time.
Richard Wolff comes on a local FM channel at 6:00 A.M. each Sunday
morning, followed by Between the Lines and several other Progressive
programs. Of course if I listened to them all I would have to give up
my morning email rambles.
I won't refuse to listen to Democracy Now, but I do plan going on-line
and seeing if I can access it, and if not, try contacting them. I've
found that this is hard to do with a great many websites. I've known
Dean Martineau for more years than I care to think about, but he's
never responded to my communications on his Tech Talk Tidbits...or
whatever it's called.
And by the way, President Obama has still not answered that letter you
and I wrote. I sent it several times to his preferred website, with
no indication that it was ever received.
It's just 7:00 A.M. and Cathy has just stumbled out of the bed room,
so I will close and head out to start her coffee.

I set my alarm for 4:55 A.M. so I caan hear Democracy Now, and I listen to
Richard Wolff on Sunday at 6:00 A.M. Same with Alternative Radio, 6:00 to
7:00 Saturday morning.
On the other hand, it gives me a good reason to crawl out of bed early.

Then there was a program on old records of classical music, something
that probably Alice would have liked. I just heard Eddie Glaude
talking about his book, Democracy in Black. I had to look on my list
to recognize that I read it this past summer.
