I guess I heard about this little book on the Flashpoints podcast that I
listened to this morning. Dennis Bernstein mentioned it briefly when he
began talking about Chris Hedges and I didn't listen to all of what he said
because he was about to try to sell listeners all of the video and audio
Chris Hedges material. But I did look for the book on Bookshare, found it,
and downloaded it. I've been listening for a bit over an hour. It is very
interesting because it consists of Chris Hedges responding to David Talbot's
questions, and so far, all of it has been about Hedges' personal experiences
and responses, starting with why he attended a fancy private school,
college, his personality, his occupational choices, and finally I'm up to
his reporting for the New York Times. Easy and fascinating reading for Chris
Hedges fans.
