Hi Miriam,
Chen has made a wise decision here. I've heard of these forced arbitration
deals before and there's no doubt that they're very bad news for the workers
and lopsided in favor of the owners.
Funny thing, the NFL has a very similar arrangement where the league's
commissioner seems to have almost absolute power when it comes to
investigations, discipline and appeals. Just ask Tom Brady what it's like to
get framed by a commissioner who wields such power. Fortunately for brady,
he's very wealthy and has his owned set of high-priced lawyers and he has
taken the NFL to court.
