Bob,
Actually, by her own words, Hillary Clinton does have a clear message.
In telling us that Sanders call for a revolution was scary, she would
assure us that as president, she would maintain the status quo. She
would compromise and move our nation along at a safe pace.
Given where much of her backing comes from, I can only surmise that we
can expect to see more jobs going overseas, along with their
factories. We can look forward to creeping inflation, called, "No
inflation" by the administration. Student loans will continue to pile
up, with few decent jobs at the end of a back breaking college degree.
Private prisons will grow, providing what amounts to slave labor for
industry. We can continue bolting our doors and watching growing
numbers of families living on the street. We will share in the joy of
increased health care, being forced to pay the increases with no
universal health care to fall back on.
We will continue to put bombs and drones ahead of rebuilding our
infrastructure, and reclamation of our crumbling inner cities. We
will still wonder if our jobs will be there tomorrow. We will
continue being told that we are under attack by Terrorists
infiltrating our borders, including many Muslims and Latino Drug
Peddlers. We can expect the CIA, the FBI and Homeland Security to
find ways of pouring through all aspects of our private lives. We
will marvel at the billions that will be spent on our next national
election. And with our dying breath we will blame Mother Nature for
turning our environment against us. In my crystal ball, I see all of
this and more.
