This morning I listened to Naomi Klein on Alternative Radio. If you
haven't located a channel in your area that carries Alternative Radio
at a respectable hour, then be sure and google it. The hour is one of
the best you'll ever spend. And the program is offeered free to your
local radio channels. A bit of determined pressure and you might see
it pop up locally. In my area we receive Alternative Radio on KUOW-FM
and KXP-FM. These are public supported stations. My complaint is
that KUOW moved the program from 8:00 PM. Thursdays to 11:00 PM.
Thursday night, and KXP broadcasts the same program at 6:00 A.M.
Sunday morning. Programs such as this must be pushed to prime time,
or who is going to listen?
You never know, your call to your radio station just might be the one
to catch their attention.
